Carrie Underwood received six nominations: Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year: Female, Album of the Year for “Play On,” Single of the Year: Female for “Cowboy Casanova,” Touring Headline Package of the Year, and Video of the Year: Female for “Cowboy Casanova.”
Kellie Pickler received two nominations: Single of the Year: Female and Video of the Year: Female for “Didn’t Know How Much I Loved You.”And, Danny Gokey received a nomination for Artist of the Year: Breakthrough Artist.
The nominees for each category, according to the official FOX press release, were determined by one of four media measurement companies: Big Champagne, Great American Country, Mediabase and Pollstar. The winners, however, are decided entirely by the fans. You can vote each day at http://www.theacas.com/ until November 8th for all categories except Artist of the Year, which is open until December 4th.
