Michael Johns: Up to No Good?

Michael Johns is known as the jokester of the top 10, and he promised “USA Today” some mischief with David Cook…

But he’s already proved he’s capable of lots of mischief when he joined the Dan Band at a recent concert to help them out with their raunchy version of “Total Eclipse of the Heart” from “Old School.”

According to “USA Today,” however, the “Idol” higher-ups were “not amused.” Michael said he apologized, but in my mind, it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission.”

By the way, Michael tells “USA” that he is planning to have his entire album written before going to a label. Michael, that didn’t work for Constantine. It’s called striking while the iron is hot…
