Carrie Stands Up to Cancer

Carrie Underwood has joined with 14 other female singers to record “Just Stand Up,” a single to benefit cancer research.

According to “Billboard,” the song was written by Antonio “L.A.” Reid, who produced it with his hitmaking colleague, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.

Carrie will perform the song with Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, and LeAnn Rimes on “Stand Up to Cancer,” a special airing simultaneously on ABC, NBC and CBS September 5th.

The song will be available on iTunes September 2nd. It’s already starting to hit radio airwaves, and you can hear it here.
