“American Idol” received seven Emmy nominations Thursday, including one for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
But the show may achieve a rather dubious Emmy record come September…
“Idol” is just three losses away from tying the record for most Emmy losses with 25 (“The Bob Newhart Show” is the current record holder.).
With this year’s weak season (and rough finale), I think the show has a good shot at becoming Emmy’s biggest loser.
