In this week’s “Soap Opera Digest” “Love It/Hate It” column, the magazine asks “Do you love or hate B&B’s Constantine?”
Fortunately for Constantine, the vote was 96% Love him, 4% Hate him, but the debate over his hire amongst soap opera critics continues.
And this “Boldface Challenge” is not helping his cause any—especially with the way the show insists on banging it over our heads. Last week, when Ridge was arguing with Phoebe over the possibility of his daughter singing with Rick, she actually turned to him and said, “Have you gone to boldface.com and voted?” Give me a break…
Fortunately for us Constantine fans, it looks like things might be looking up for him. “SOD” also reports that this Thursday, Constantine surprises Felicia on their first date. Since Constantine and Felicia are actually believable as a couple (unlike Constantine and Phoebe), I’m pretty excited about this. I just hope that the surprise isn’t taking her to an Internet café where they can vote for the Boldface Challenge…
