So, while I’ve been trying to guess the “big surprise,” I’ve also been wondering what this year’s goodbye song is.
Well, I will wonder no more…
It was announced yesterday that the song will be a cover of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home,” recorded by Carrie Underwood.
The song will make its debut Wednesday night and will be available exclusively on iTunes until March 16th, and then it will be available on all digital music outlets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of the United States.
I was a little worried when it first started that Carrie was going a little too soft with it, but she amps it up by the chorus.
