She obviously got the final spot because she’s the judges’ favorite, because I don’t think that song or that performance earned it. She looked gorgeous but I thought her performance wasn’t NEARLY as strong as the judges thought she was—especially since she gave the background singers the chorus. And pimping for votes during the performance? That’s just wrong.
By the way, for those of you who noticed that you didn’t hear her plea for votes during the recap, I remind you that the recap of the final performance is taped during dress rehearsal.
