For the first time this season I am feeling good about “American Idol.” Not about the contestants. I still feel lousy about them. But about America. Last week they made some bad choices. But this week they got it all completely right…
Jermaine may think that his mouth didn’t get him in trouble, but he would be wrong. He got mega cocky and the audience punished him for it. Haeley was just terrible and in way over her head. It seems almost unfair that the judges put her in the Top 24 before her time, but she deserved to go home this week.
Michelle did not give that bad of a performance, but I agree that Didi deserved another chance. But she had better bring it next week. And Tim probably deserved to go a little more than John, but it was pretty much a toss up.
Next week, we say goodbye to four more as we finally get to the Top 12, which means no more three nights a week. And aren’t we all happy about that one?
