I have to admit that I was disappointed the instant I heard what he was singing. I LOVE this song (Can’t believe Simon called it boring!) so there were some pretty painful moments for me—especially those high notes. But you have to give him props for trying something different.

I just knew Allison was going to do this one if they’d consider it a 1992 song (It actually hit its peak in 1991, so I erased that thought from my earlier post because I wasn’t sure.). That was really good, but I had to take a point off because the song is a little bit tired of an Idol choice.
