Honestly, I think David Cook lost the second that coin landed Archuleta side up…
As good as David was, and he was good tonight, I just don’t think there’s any way he can compete with the emotional impact of “Imagine” as a closing number.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. It doesn’t matter because David Cook will get a record deal anyway, and that’s true. But the recent track record of runners-up makes me want David to win just so they’ll actually promote him…
