I told you yesterday that Randy had chosen “If I Ain’t Got You” for Syesha (as reported on TV Fan) and then I blasted Randy for making such a terrible pick.
Well guess what? Syesha has already done that song on another reality show—ABC’s failed “Idol” clone, “The One.”
So, here’s the big question. Did Randy already know that and was trying to throw her a bone? There was no video on YouTube until Friday—after Randy made his choice known—but there were people involved with “One” that Randy probably works with occasionally, like songwriter Kara DioGuardi. So…
However, I think if Randy was trying to throw her a bone, he threw her a rotten one. I hope for her sake that she gives it a better attempt tonight…
